Grounds Maintenance Operative - Plymouth

The Upex Group is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative / Landscape Gardener to join our team!

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Location: Plymouth & Surrounding

Pay Rate: £12.82 per hour

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 07:30am to 16:30pm

Responsibilities:

Carry out general grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning, and weedingPlanting and maintaining flower beds, hanging baskets and bordersMaintaining and operating gardening tools and machineryCollecting and disposing of garden wasteAssisting with the preparation of outdoor spaces for eventsReporting any defects or hazardsEnsuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

Proven experience in grounds maintenanceKnowledge of gardening techniques and plant identificationGood communication skillsAbility to work well in a teamFull driving license - Required
