Grounds Maintenance Operative - Hammersmith

The Upex Group is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Operative / Landscape Gardener to join our team!

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our outdoor spaces are well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Location: Hammersmith & Surrounding

Pay Rate: £12.82 to £13.15 per hour

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 07:30am to 16:30pm

Responsibilities:

• Carry out general grounds maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, hedge trimming, pruning, and weeding
• Planting and maintaining flower beds, hanging baskets and borders
• Maintaining and operating gardening tools and machinery
• Collecting and disposing of garden waste
• Assisting with the preparation of outdoor spaces for events
• Reporting any defects or hazards
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Proven experience in grounds maintenance
• Knowledge of gardening techniques and plant identification
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Full driving license - Required
